It’s time for an intervention for the nation’s Socialist Left Part II

Forgive the bluntness, but you folks on the left have had a free-ride for decades.

You possess immense advantages over the right in controlling most of the news and media outlets. You also control most of the vestiges of cultural – music, movies and even what’s on the tele every night. You people have an incredible influence over what is considered to be the important topics of the day. In the winter you decree that winter weather is the result of ‘climate change’ and in the summer that it’s ‘Global cooling’ or ‘Global warming’.

You can unleash your Socialist Justice warriors over some perceived slight or utterance made by those on the wrong side of the political aisle and ignore the same on your side.

Democratically run cities lay in ruins due to your policy blunders, and no one blinks an eye. Public debt is out of control and the number of taxpayers who actually foot the bill is shrinking.

Grandiose extravagances born of your party’s desire to have more people dependent on your good graces are imploding and you have people more concerned about ‘politically incorrect’ Christmas songs.

You’ve gone so far as to think you can alter the reality of your failed ideology with absurd definitions of the term ‘socialism’ to essentially credit socialism for everything from the existence of civilization to sewer systems. You’ve tried to use bizarre and twisted logic that turns reality on it’s head to once again sell a new generation on an ideological dead end.

You people expect to just metaphorically walk on stage and scream RACISM! at the top of your lungs and then drop the mike as though you made a cogent argument. You attempt to shut down debate on environmental issues with pejoratives such as ‘climate denier’.

Intellectual laziness has atrophied your argumentative musculature to the point that you have to argue based on clichés and intellectually vacuous pejoratives.

Leftist losing streak

And yet, with all of these overwhelming advantages mentioned in part I, you’ve been losing the past several years:

Over Obama’s eight years, Democrats went from controlling 28 governor’s mansions to 18; they went from controlling 25 state legislatures to 12; they went from controlling 60 Senate seats to 48; and from controlling 257 House seats to 194.

And of course, they lost the White House too.

Our wins came about without the benefit of your immense advantages you hold on the nation’s socialist Left

We don’t control most of the news media that decides what is vitally important and what can be omitted. A news media that applies one standard to those on the right who are preserving liberty and one for you people on the left trying to destroy it.

We don’t have a media arm, willing to blare whatever meme of day suits our purposes. We don’t have the benefit of controlling the cultural direction of the nation to undergird our agenda.

We don’t have the ability to force the children in governmental indoctrination centres imbibe in socialist studies on the taxpayer dime. We cannot attempt to recreate the meaning of common words to further our agenda or hide it’s abject failure in operation.

We don’t have the advantage of using one word arguments designed to shame and silence our opponents.

Despite most of our best efforts, we cannot disconnect ourselves from your Marxist media onslaught. No matter where we find ourselves most assuredly there is some Leftist-Socialist entity ramming your agenda down our throats.

And yet with all of the advantages we don’t possess, we have managed to win most of the time in the past few years.

You socialists on the nation’s left need to ponder why is this the case? Why is it that you hold most of the cards and are still losing the game?

I submit that these immense advantages you possess have been to your detriment. They have masked your decline such that you people think you should still be winning. You’ve tied your side to a failed ideology that cannot work, and has Left the bodies of 94 million dead in it’s wake to prove it.

But you don’t see this, you just exist in a leftist bubble of delusion thinking that one more repackaging or relabeling of the same old ideas will work. And you think that ramming these ideas down the throats of children or obscuring your oppressive agenda with cutesy #hashtags will somehow rescue your failure from stark cold economic reality.

I realise that you love to play the blame game and project you issues on others with regard to the last election. Or try minor changes that will leave your fundamental principles intact. But the fact is you been losing for years now – and it wasn’t just the last go around.

This points to the fact that your underlying socialist principles are at fault, so it is time to put them out to pasture once and for all.

500 years of failure

Your current fundamental belief system of socialism traces its roots back to ancient times, but were first expressed 500 years ago in Sir Thomas More’s book “Utopia” published in 1516.

Oddly enough, the word utopia literally means ‘no place’ – that alone should tell you something. Referencing the Oxford English dictionary:

Origin Mid 16th century: based on Greek ou not + topos place; the word was first used in the book “Utopia” (1516) by Sir Thomas More.

And just for the record, even the Marxists confirm this fact in a publication from 1949

“The first theoretical expression of a genuinely socialist position came in Thomas More’s Utopia, written in the early years of the 16th Century.”

Despite the falsehood you people like to foster about your ideas and ideology being fresh and new helped along with myriad self-labeling variations of your base ideology, the reality is that to use the term, colloquial they are ‘old and busted’. Were you honest with yourselves and research the history of your own ideology you would know this and you would know that those 500 years have never seen it function properly.

In our next installment, we will lay out the scientifically based argument on why you need to change – it’s your only hope.

Differential equations teaches us that one can use the initial conditions of the present to extrapolate events in the near term balanced with the knowledge of the past. The interaction of technological advances and the march of history is fascinating. History can inform those willing to listen as to what will happen in the future because the laws of human natural are as immutable as the elegant equations of Newtonian physics.
